Four gates, one written specification, and an open door for your own inspector. This page describes how that works in practice.
Anything caught at the first point costs a phone call. Anything caught at the last point costs a container. That is the whole argument for checking early.
Material and components are checked against the order before they enter production. Quantity, grade and visible condition are recorded. What fails here never reaches the line — that is the point of doing it first.
Dimensional accuracy is held to the agreed drawing and recorded batch by batch, so a question raised weeks later is answered from the record rather than from memory. Fit, function and appearance are finished to the standard the sample was approved at.
Final test, then packing assessed against transport damage rather than against what is cheapest — a part that arrives bent was not a bargain. Documents that follow the goods are prepared at the same stage.
This is the one claim on our site that we would rather you tested than believed.
You may appoint a third-party inspection agency at any stage before shipment. We arrange access and provide the samples they ask for — including the units set aside for the run, not a preparation made for the visit.
Where a batch deviates from the agreed specification, we tell you before shipment, with photographs rather than adjectives. A flaw disclosed is a specification; a flaw concealed is a breach of contract.
Tell us the agency, the date and which items they will look at. We will hold the goods and give them access. If you would rather we arranged a routine inspection on your behalf first, ask — it is cheaper before a container than after it.
Specification sheets, test reports and compliance documents are issued as documents you can check, per product and per destination market. Where a market requires a particular conformity document, tell us and we will state whether we can provide it — before the order, not at the port.
What we do not do is publish certification badges on a web page. A logo on a homepage proves nothing about the carton you receive, and we would rather the documents travel with the goods where they can be inspected.
A photograph of an existing part or product is often faster than a description. We will come back with availability, price and what the shipment requires.
Tell us the division, the product, the specification and the destination market.
